An innovative spray for optimal plant health, crop quality and sustainable yield.
For Floriculture, Annual and Greenhouse Crops
+ early season kiwifruit, pre-production vine and tree crops, new plantings and grafts.
Commercial Gerbera Operation, Auckland
“Primazest has changed the way we grow. After having ongoing pH problems our plants became very sick and Primazest was the only product that was able to bring them back to full health.
We have noticed so many benefits since using this product. Longer stem length, larger flowers, brighter colours & healthier plant growth. “
Nicola and Jenna,
Gerbera Growers, Auckland.
DIRECTIONS
KIWIFRUIT
New Orchards and New Grafts in Established Orchards:
From the 2 leaf stage onwards:
Rate: Primazest at 5ml/L with a knapsack sprayer
Timing: every 3-7 days.
When growth has reached the stage where a sprayer with directed nozzles is necessary:
Rate: Primazest at 5ml/L,
Timing: every 7-14 days.
With an almost full canopy (and when more than 200L of water is needed to cover 1 hectare):
Rate: Primazest at 1L/ha with an air blast sprayer
Timing: every 14-21 days until full canopy is achieved.
Vegetable and Agricultural Crops
Rate: use 1 litre of Primazest in 50 to 500 litres of water per hectare.
Timing: at early growth stage apply 2 sprays, 3 to 5 days apart.
Then a further 2 sprays, 2 weeks apart.
Please contact us for further instructions specific to your crop.
Greenhouse Crops
Rate: use 5mls of Primazest per litre of water.
Timing: at early growth stage apply 2 sprays, 5 days apart.
Then a further 2 sprays, 2 weeks apart.
Follow on sprays can be applied when pest, disease or environmental pressure is anticipated.
Near harvest, apply weekly to maintain clean crops.
KIWIFRUIT
Established Orchards:
For early season growth. To protect, reduce stress and aid recovery from variable spring conditions such as frost and high winds.
Rate: 2 sprays of Primazest at 1L/ha.
Timing: 7 days apart starting at the 2 leaf stage (around 4cm) and until 2-3 weeks before flowering (before the 1st Agrizest spray is applied).
User Guidance
No wetting agent required

Introduction to the Science
For detailed scientific information please read the paper published in a peer-reviewed scientific journal.
How Does Primazest Work?
Primazest works indirectly to elicit phenylpropanoids to reduce stress and increase plant performance.
All plants have receptors on their surfaces. Rather than directly feeding the plant or targeting a specific pest or disease, Primazest is designed to be registered by these receptors, eliciting, or triggering, a plant response.
Primazest is manufactured from various plant-derived materials. Proteins, fats and phospholipids are extracted and re-formed so that, when applied to plants, they mimic the attack of pest, disease and environmental stress without causing any damage to the plant. The plant reacts to Primazest applications by producing Phenylpropanoids.
Primazest is not a hormone spray, fortified seaweed or fertiliser and does not leave any residue.
Introduction to Phenylpropanoids
Phenylpropanoids are a range of bioactive molecules, naturally produced by all plants, responsible for important plant and fruit quality characteristics. They also support plants' repair, growth and defence systems (immune systems).
Examples include lignin and suberin to harden cells and produce crunchier fruit, flavanoids for improved flavour, anthocyanins for high colour and coumestrol and other oils to repair damage.
When Primazest is applied to plants, it triggers and elicits the production of these molecules, ultimately enabling optimal plant health and fruit quality.
